hello ha! it's me again. i wonder if you guys actually see the post. so if you guys read it, do respond by tagging on the tagboard! and you can always share the progress of your rehearsals, testimonies, trainings, learnings etc, thats what our blog is for! (:

besides praying and fasting for our own spiritual life (to be ready and to be used by God!), i was just trying to think of prayer points, but bingo, i realised there's something very important that we can all pray for!

1. our ESS name!! having to brainstorm for an ess name made me quite convicted of how important the name will be. it has to have meaning, it has to be appealing, and it has to be catchy. so please pray for creativity and inspiration for us that we'll come up with a great name that people would hear it and would be attracted to the ess okie! and pray that God will make it work (:

2. please also keep your fellow dancers in prayer. rehearsals have more or less started except for a couple of items, so we really need God's grace to help everyone of us catch steps and be fast learners, and have chemistry between all the dancers too. pray that rehearsals will keep up so that we have more time to perfect the dances before ess!


thanks guys (: lets keep our focus right. God loves us, God loves people through us too. let's be messengers and representatives of God by dancing well!

anyways! hope you guys had a great week. this week the dance (5) people started on our dance, and hmmmm it's really good. please please please do affirm and thank the choreographers for working so hard on the dances when you meet them. they are joshua, kangli, tzelin, christine, dk, and cher (: it's really not easy to come up with steps and still gotta portray the intended message.

tomorrow is our second week of praying and fasting! as like last week, here are the prayer pointers:

1. ESS preparations (rehearsals, choreography, costumes, props etc) will flow along with what God intends to do with us and with our production. meaning we don't just want to work work work work slog slog slog, but we need to work in the correct direction as well. so you can also pray that we will be rilly rilly wise, creative, and sensitive to the spirit through this whole time! yes, all of us, not just the production heads, but alll the dancers as well.

2. please continue to pray over your spiritual life, friends! i think i shall make this point permanent :D i think its really important we walk right with God, keep our focus right, and guard our hearts through this period of time. lets ask God to convict us and remind us how awfully important it is to have clean hands and pure hearts yeah? (:

btw, i know tomorrow group 1 has rehearsal. so if you're fasting lunch, please make sure you grab a bite after you break fast so that you won't faint during rehearsal =p its 7-9.30pm at america room (if america room still cannot be used, please go to reception).

oh and choreographers do make sure you arrange with those absentees on 'make up' rehearsals or you can use saturdays as well.

by the way, there are some changes to the dancers so choreographers, and dancers yourselves, please take note. but not much though, most of you aren't affected ;) can confirm it against this list:

we're gonna embark on fasting and praying for the upcoming ESS in march! as promised, here are the prayer objectives :D

1. lets pray that God will anoint the choreographers, inspire them, bless
them with abundance of creativity so that they will come up with impactful,
mind-blowing, amazing choreos :D!

2. prepare ourselves spiritually and physically for the upcoming
rehearsals, remind ourselves why we are dancing so that for every rehearsal
thats on our way, lets attend them all and have a spirit of excellence!!

lets do this together alright (: for dancers who aren't dancing for ESS, you're welcome to join us in this journey too. we really need lots of prayer, lots of guidance, lots of God's intervention to make the ESS a success okie. also, lets keep this 2 prayer points in mind for the rest of the week. every prayer is a powerful weapon!!

regarding rehearsals, rooms have been booked (hurray! mirrors and music). i'll post up the schedule and venue here and also email you guys, so that ya'll won't be confused. will do that by sunday.

do watch this space for updates! regarding all the rehearsals etc.

Beg class is from 7.30-8.30, Adv beg from 8.30-9.30. Your respective class i/cs should have sms you the meeting time and place for tomorrow's class. Due to some booking clashes, we are currently looking for a new venue for Feb. Please help pray for God to open doors for us. If you are coming on your own, please contact me so I can direct you within NUS compounds. Final note, do wear proper attire and shoes for all hiphop classes.
