anyways! hope you guys had a great week. this week the dance (5) people started on our dance, and hmmmm it's really good. please please please do affirm and thank the choreographers for working so hard on the dances when you meet them. they are joshua, kangli, tzelin, christine, dk, and cher (: it's really not easy to come up with steps and still gotta portray the intended message.

tomorrow is our second week of praying and fasting! as like last week, here are the prayer pointers:

1. ESS preparations (rehearsals, choreography, costumes, props etc) will flow along with what God intends to do with us and with our production. meaning we don't just want to work work work work slog slog slog, but we need to work in the correct direction as well. so you can also pray that we will be rilly rilly wise, creative, and sensitive to the spirit through this whole time! yes, all of us, not just the production heads, but alll the dancers as well.

2. please continue to pray over your spiritual life, friends! i think i shall make this point permanent :D i think its really important we walk right with God, keep our focus right, and guard our hearts through this period of time. lets ask God to convict us and remind us how awfully important it is to have clean hands and pure hearts yeah? (:

btw, i know tomorrow group 1 has rehearsal. so if you're fasting lunch, please make sure you grab a bite after you break fast so that you won't faint during rehearsal =p its 7-9.30pm at america room (if america room still cannot be used, please go to reception).

//edit: btw guys, if you cannot make it for any of the rehearsals, please let your choreographers AND your group leader know. sorry if i didn't make this clear before, but if you guys let me know, i've to pass msg to ur group ppl and then blahblahblah may miscom somewhere. and also! maybe you haven't knew this yet but here are the various group leaders/contacts (meaning, if i've got any message for you guys, they'll pass it down) for each dance group:
(1) - peu i.e peiyu (hehe)
(2) - desmond
(3) - xinru
(4) - cher (and to cher alone)
(5) - yunian
(6) - myself (cos most are overlapping dancers)

oh and choreographers do make sure you arrange with those absentees on 'make up' rehearsals or you can use saturdays as well.
- EDIT by jiali - The responsibility falls on the absentees to arrange 'make up' rehearsals with the choreographers to learn the steps before the next rehearsal. Please note that being in the rehearsal team doesn't guarantee you'll end up on stage. Clean hands, pure hearts, but also skilful hands and feet. :D
